In your own words, please describe your book….The Hunger Games for Adults
What is the genre? Fantasy Romance/New Adult Romance with a hint of passion
What inspired you to write this book? We wondered what would happen to a strong female character trapped with thirty gorgeous males vying for her attention. With the right research, intertwined with our wild imaginations, we came up with The Carnal Games.
Will this book be a standalone or part of a series? This is book one in The Carnal Games series. The series follows Riley on her adventure in this new world in which she can’t escape. One book is planned to be published at the end of each month.
What message would you like to convey with this book? Strong women characters combined with intriguing story lines can bring about wonderful entertainment.
Can you tell us some about the writer behind the book? Angelica Boone and Hayden Voss both reside in south Florida. We met at a writer’s meeting several years ago, and communicate on a regular basis.
Tell us one thing about you we wouldn’t know? One of us writes the sexy scenes, and we’ll never tell which one.
What has been the best moment in your writing career? Hitting the publishing key each and every time.
How do you come up with the titles of your book? Both of us brainstorm together, often through text, and when the perfect name pops up, that’s the one we go with. The last two series we wrote, one of us picked the name of one series, and the other picked the new name. We work really well together.
How long does it take you to finish a novel? This novelette was written fairly quickly, within a week, and then we took time for the editing process. It’s safe to say we can write a decent novelette size book within a month, but we both work on other projects during this time as well.
How can readers connect with you?
What are you working on now? We are working on the next book in the series, as well as other projects in our new planned series. Check out our website to see what’s new.
Do you have any other books already released? Yes, we have a series entitled “Letters of Intent”, about an office romance turned into a mystery.
