Author Interview with Holly Hunt and Her Book: Tyrant of Tarsit (Fantasy)

In your own words, describe your book….

The Tyrant of Tarsit is about a woman transported back in time on a dark stretch of road. She’s mistaken for a sorcerer, and must fight to prove her innocence – while the real sorcerer is doing his best to sabotage her.

What is the genre?

What inspired you to write Tyrant of Tarsit?
I always wanted to write a time-travel book. This seemed one of my better ideas.

Will this book be a standalone or part of the series?
It’s part of Champagne Books’ group of standalones called Dark Heroes. As the name implies, each story features a dark hero in the lead.

What message would you like to convey with Tyrant of Tarsit?
Careful who you trust.

What books are similar to this one?
I’m sure there are plenty of time-travelling motorbike chicks out there. The problem is in finding a good one.

Where can readers find Tyrant of Tarsit?
Amazon, or directly from the Publisher.

Can you tell us some about the writer behind the book?
I’m a gardening and pop culture nut. I attend pop-culture conventions and feel at home (and the people who go to those things are complete weirdos. So what does that really say about me?) I collect and resell coins as a hobby.

Tell us one thing about you we wouldn’t know?
In my real life, I’m one year away from being a qualified butcher.

How can readers connect with you?
On a spiritual level 😉 Twitter’s good, too (@hollyhuntauthor)

What are you working on now?

I’m juggling between three books. A non-fiction about a murder that took place in my home town almost 200 years ago, a crime-fiction, and an epic fantasy involving the world’s history as my playground.

Do you have any other books released? What is your next release?
The Devil’s Wife is a dark urban fantasy. Scale & Feather is a light fantasy/fairytale. And Blood Moon is about a werewolf apocalypse. All of them are very different.
