Madame’s Double Life tells the story of Lady Victoria, born in high society and forced to marry an older man. When she meets the Duke of Wellington, she risk causing a scandal and bringing shame to her husband’s name. The novel is a coming of age story for Lady Victoria.

What inspired you to write this book?
I have been an avid reader of romance novels, specifically historical romance novels set primarily in England during the Elizabethan, Regency and Victorian era.

This is a standalone book.
What message would you like to convey with Madame’s Double Life?
When life changing decisions are made on your behalf, you can either accept it and do nothing or find meaning in your life.

Can you tell us some about the writer behind the book?
Although I was born and raised in the United States, I have always felt a connection to “British” society since I was a young teenager. As a teenager, I dealt with most adolescent problems by escaping into romance novels.
Tell us one thing about you we wouldn’t know?
Two of my favorite authors are Virginia Henley and Johanna Lindsey.

I have two novels, The Rakish Duke and Meet Me at the Masquerade that are in the process of being edited.
